Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Cairo – Bahariya Oasis – White & Black Desert
Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from Cairo and enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 340 km (around 5 hours) to Bahariya Oasis, the closest oasis to the Egyptian capital.
Upon arrival in Bawiti, the main town of Bahariya Oasis, you will meet your safari team and begin exploring the surrounding desert landscapes.
Start with a visit to the Black Desert, where you will enjoy a hike to Gabal El Marsos, also known as the Divided Mountain, offering panoramic views of the dramatic volcanic terrain.
Continue to El Hez Village, where you will enjoy a traditional Bedouin lunch before heading deeper into the desert.
Travel through Crystal Mountain and Agabat El Sharkia, admiring the stunning geological formations and endless desert scenery along the way.
